Hi

I'm Emma

Im 19 and from Texas, usa

I had always been big boned but not fat when I was kid. Weight became an issue with me when I developed large breasts when I was a teen.
Not that im using them as an exercise. I used to be athletic, and the track team, swimming average weight and height. Then I realized I couldn’t run, or do sit-ups ex, because of my bust size. It only became worse so I quit sports all together. And stuck to things that didn’t involve me flopping around trying to chest up with my friends. I became depressed and my parents put me a series of anti depressants that made me gain even more weight.
Right now im 5'10 260 lbs, with 46 J breasts.
Exercise is difficult for me because of the size of my chest. I end up straining my back when I do most exercise.
I do yoga but for me, I don’t lose weight with it. I do eat healthy; maybe a tad bit too much dairy.
I was wondering if anyone on this site could help me with some exercises that wouldn’t strain my back as much.

thanks ems

Water aerobics could be a great help and also an exercise bike. I hope you find an exercise you can feel comfortable with, welcome to the forum.

I'm not the one to ask about specific exercises, but I do know that cardio is necessary for loosing the weight. I would also suggest the bike, b/c your upper body is mostly stationary while you move. I hope that you can find some great advice here and i welcome you to our forum!!!

i had a couple friends in high school that played soccer at a high level and got breast reductions for the same reasons ... have you thought about that?

breast reduction

I looked into it when I was on my parents insurance, but unforthantly they did not over it, even though I have breathing problems and back problems because of it.

My husbands insurance does cover it, if I can prove its not cosmetic.
My doctor said that if I try to lose weight before I go and have them looked at by a surgeon. it looks good to the insurance company, because it proves that my breast size doesn’t go down when I lose weight. Witch it doesn’t.

I was thinking you could also go to the gym and talk to someone about back strengthening exercises; they will also be able to show you more exercise that you can do that you can feel comfortable with. The up side is that when you lose weight it usually starts with your boobs first (I now have none) lol. Walking will always be your best friend it can be done anywhere at any time with out to much stress on any part of the body. Good luck with everything. ;)

gym and walking

Those are some things I’d really like to do. But where I live its kind of unsafe to walk, there aren’t any sidewalks, instead there’s ditches on the side of the road . I've tried going to a gym, but (this is funny) I don't know how to drive. And I have to rely on my husband (who works 6-6 swing shift) and my sister in law. I end up wasting money because im only able to go once every couple of weeks.

right now im just looking for things i can do at home for the time being. Then im going to try and get someone to join a gym with me for I can have a ride :( . Your suggestions are really great though thanks allot :D

Lol clover I can’t drive either and I no how much of a pain in the bum that is, it dose make it really hard to go anywhere so im hoping to get mine this year. Have you ever heard of the clothes line diet? From what ive herd a woman had a lot of weight to loose and couldn’t walk very far so she walked around her clothes line. I will try and find a link for it.

this is the only link i could find i will keep trying for you
