new workout plan

ive decided i need t oget back to the gym and am going to mainly use running starting around 15-25 minutes a day and adding in some weights
just want some advice on peopple who have made up plans and generally how long it takes to loose weight ect

thanks im just fed up of having no energy and sleeping loads

im only about a stone or two over weight but can really start to see it on my face now.

just want some advice on a plan and basiclyt any other info

how long to lose weight? literally one day. But not much. It's generally a combination of calories in / calories expended. 1 pound = 3500 calories. If you think about it, it's easy to exceed expended calories in a day by well over 1000, even 2000 with a bad diet and lots of eating. It's a lot harder to eat well and use more calories than you take in. Example: if you eat 2100 calories and exercise a lot that day you might expend 3000 calories. 900/3500 = about 1/4 pound loss. hope that helps, good luck and work hard!
