I'm a 30 year old female veteran. Current weight 214 height 5'8. I decided to join this forum in hopes of getting feedback, new ideas, new exercises. I find myself between a rock and a hard place for sure. I have so many restrictions on what I can do, and what I can eat, due to food allergies that I feel I have reached an impasse.
I have chronic injuries that flare up with exercise. Even at the minimum they still flare up. Shoulders and knees are the biggest issue. I am on crutches or in a sling every 6 months from regular standard exercise. I do zero impact now, no weights, and yoga at a minimum daily. But my knee has already flared up, and my left shoulder has also flared up. I have to lay off them because i could end up with a full blown flare up. That will leave me out for at least 2 months. My weight is gaining. I'm not sure what to do anymore. Feedback, comments, are all welcomed. please. and Thank you.

Hi Soraya!

It is not the end of the world!;)

I recommend you to walk every day at least 30-45 minutes, so that during your walking you can talk to your pal and your heart rate is normal.

Also, I recommend to eat the products you can, because of your allergies and count, how much kcal you eat in a day.

:dupe:The point is that you must eat as much you can burn in one day.

If you want to lose weight, I recommend not to eat right after the walking, because then your body will take the energy from your body fat.

Don't focus on your injuries, but on your aim! Be positive and you will reach your aim sooner! GOOD LUCK! YOU CAN DO IT!:)

Hi Soraya,
Welcome. I am new too.
I also have injuries that make exercising difficult at times. Have you tried swimming? I find that it is managable for me and the bonus is that burns a lot of calories. All the best :)
