Hey Fitness Forums,
Just became a member and looking for dire advice. Here is the problem. I am 26 and just started to work in office. With that I am a 6 Handicap Golfer and played tennis at ITF level. When I played tennis I was fit which was 4 years ago and continued to work out during university but didn’t see much result and I have no one to blame but myself as I love food! But working out kept me in check and my weight was always 165 and never went up nor did drop.
One day I saw the p90x commercial and decided to give it a try. After the first week I ended up injuring my Groin had to take prescription medication to fix that I bet it was from AB ripper x. The other issue that arose was soreness. My GOD I was not able to swing the golf club for a week and I did all the stretches. So I decided to put that aside except the yoga as that I found I good for stretching. I’m not saying that p90x is not a good program it’s an amazing program to get ripped and stuff but it’s not for me. I think the fact that getting ripped in 3 months to anyone would sound appealing.
Any Way I don’t want to bulk up or anything I would really like to have a swimmers body kina look. I am also confined to few rules as I am on kina vacation looking after my grandparents for a few months. I have a roof with open top but it’s all concrete and had chin splints while skipping.
I have asthe following items:
Pull up bar ( I can do like one pull up)
Push up thingies ( I can do 25 regular and wide push ups)
Dumbbells ( I can add weights to it)
Skipping rope (trained as a boxer at uni so really good at this)
Yoga matt. ( good for stretching )
I was hoping for some advice to what plan to follow. Of course I want to see result maybe not as fast as p90x but I don’t wanto be useless the next day. I can control my food intake now but are their any workout plans here that can be catered for me. Please remember I don’t wanto bulk up just want some kind of a plan to help me in tennis and golf but at the same time get me swimmers body or close to it.
Thanks allot guys!
