Hi there, :seeya:
I am very new to this site, and to the whole "forum" thing. haha. I am hoping that someone has gone through this and will help me out a bit. I am obese I now weigh 246.5 lbs.... getting very close to 250. this is an all time high for me. I have been over weight my entire life. I went from a chubby kid to an angry over weight teen to an anxious obese 25 year old. I have lost some weight in the past but the gained it all back. I don't know where I even start. I think wishing for it for so long has almost made it overwhelming. I binge eat, have prolems with depression and major anxiety, always tired <all the time. :ack2: im worried my weight is going to make me very sick some day soon and I don't even know where to start... :(

I think the only thing you need is to start RIGHT NOW.

You don't need to create a plan before you start. You can go on a walk today. Stay hydrated, eat less than normal.

I'd suggest you go the opposite route of what you're thinking. I'd go with a simple approach of just eating meat, lots of veggies, and some fruit. Stay away from carbs like potatoes, breads, pasta, rice etc ... don't drink any calories. Very simple and yet highly effective. This will allow you to focus on your training and not spend a lot of time on your diet.

Regardless of what diet you follow the training in your case is just as important as losing weight. I'd suggest you train twice a day. Early AM and also in the evening.

I think if you work hard and stick with it, I'm sure you'll be able to do it!
Good Luck

Jastin Fretza is right. Just start right now.

Develop yourself a lifestyle plan that you'll maintain and like. Keep it fun, interesting and don't turn back. Dive both feet in and start losing that weight. I was 250 a few weeks ago so I know the feeling. If I can, so can you! So get to it!

Welcome to the forum.

You just need to start eating right and exercise everyday. I'm doing a 28 challenge now and it's doing really good I was 322.9 and now I'm at 306.4 just 3 weeks on the challenge. You have to stick with anything you decide to do and keep going!

thanks for all the ideas! im thinking no fast food or pop! I do love fruits and veggies so im going to switch my snacks to them the only thing is I have to eat a lot of them to feel even a bit satisfied I know protein should help with that but is there any ideas on food that are good and filling?

I'm new here too. I found that oatmeal is a very filling food. :)
