Hello everyone,

My name is Justin I'm 22 and about 6,5 tall.. I've been really struggling with weight this year... I started off around 280-290 and have ballooned up to at least 390-420 in about the timeline of a year... I hate myself for it and I'm really having a hard time with this rapid weight gain. I've met the woman of my dreams about a year ago too. We've been eating out more often but I think the big kicker is my lack in gym time. I've just visited the doctor this past weekend and I'm going to go in for some blood work to make sure my body it's self is not causing me all this grief. I'm considering joining a group like weight watchers but I have doubts. I just don't know where to look I feel so shitty going to the gym.. Everyone is beautiful and ripped.. And I really don't know any proper workouts.. So I end up playing basketball for about 1-2 hours because that's just something I know and love. I just wonder sometimes if running and gunning on the court is putting too much impact on my body.

I hope to lose about 165-175 lbs

Thanks for reading about my journey.. This is just the beginning for me.

Work out in the comfort of your own home for now then. Work out inside or outside if weather permits. Look up Tae-bo or yoga or Adrian Bryant on Youtube and get to work! Running at that weight does put a ton of pressure on the knees but it is exercise that will improve your cardio and weight loss. If you love it, keep doing it! You can drop that weight just need to press forward, believe in yourself, stop the self hate and embrace who you are and who you'll become on this journey.

Hi Justin, I had seen your ad on the site and I believe I can relate to you. I'm about the same size as you and struggling to get the weight and yes there is also a women in my picture as well. I also live in Toronto. I'm trying to get some local people together to work out with and push each other to succeed. if this sounds interesting then drop me a line.
