Hi everyone!!
I'm new to this program and it took me a few days to get used to all the weighing and cooking. I think I'm getting the hang of it but now I'm facing a different type of issue. Usually when I PMS, I tend to eat alot more during the day because I constantly feel like I need to. And I'm starting to PMS and I'm already starting to sneak a little tiny bit of food that I'm definitely NOT supposed to be doing here and there. Especially when I'm the one who takes care of cooking for my family...husband, daughter (4 years old) & son (1 year old). I have to take a taste to taste what I'm preparing to make sure I'm on track with their food. Does anyone else have ever have this problem with PMS? What should/can I do? Also, my period also seems to be later than usual since I started this diet (nope, definitely not preggo ).
I also noticed on the Cohen's manual that I received that under the Meat category, it doesn't list any type of pork. Does that mean it's not allowed under this plan? And what about other types of veggies. I'm Chinese American and there are lots of different veggies and chinese melons that I'm not sure if I can use. (Geez, it's been soooo hard with this "no rice/noodles" since I started since I still have to cook it for my family)
Are there any other Asians on this forum/diet? Need tips on handling the yummy dimsum that I'm missing and recipes that you may know of...
I do want to pat myself on the back for being able to drive through McDonald's to pick up food for my family without ordering anything for myself or nibbling on any of their food. (I love fast food joints!!!)
Thanks!!
Mildred
