New to the forum need a few quick tips

Hi Im new here and just wondering if anyone could offer a little advice. I am 5"9 and weigh 156 pounds, i know i am not overweight but i have a lot of access flub :rolleyes: ive been skinny all my life so im pretty down about my weight at the moment. Im looking to lose at least 10 to 15 pounds but im the kind of person who cant stay commited to a diet plan or regular gym visits (although im paying for a membership) :confused: Does anyone have some easy tips on how to eat less and healther and also how to add excersise into my day without really noticeing it? Any kind of quick tips to help me achecive my goal weight in the shortest amount of time would be very appricated. Next summer i want to feel great on the beach :) Thanks
 
HI there,

a few ideas .....take the stairs instead of the elevator, park far away from the entrance - whether you go shopping or to work, carry your own groceries and don't let the clerk do it for you.

Welcome to the forums. Walking to the corner store (or a store several blocks away) when to get a cup of coffee or a diet pop might help. Like 3 or 4 times a week.
 
tell us what you like to eat for snacks and we might be able to give you suggestions on some good substitions ... one of my favorites is when you have salad, get the dressing on the side; dip the fork in the dressing and then dig in ... tastes exactly the same (i think)
 
that's a great idea AllCdnBoy...I tried it today and it did taste really good. I still ended up pouring the dressing over my salad, but I am actually not sure why:confused:

I'm going to try again tomorrow...
