Hello.

Just a little info about myself.
Like everyone else, I'm ready to lose weight and I needed some help. Or accountability.
I'm 25 years old and barely 5'4" and my heaviest weight was 217lbs. My current weight is 213lbs. I have not always been overweight. I used to be a size 3, and now I'm squeezing into a size 18. "Used to be" are the key words. I have been steadily gaining weight for the last 6 years.
Why? Laziness. I have been eating fast food and drinking Pepsi by the gallon.
I know I need to make changes in my life and I'm starting now. I have started recording everything I eat, and it is amazing to see how much you're really eating. I never realized how many calories I've been eating or drinking!
My calorie goal is 1700 calories per day. I'm trying to do 20 minutes of cardio a day to get myself started. I'm going to try to gradually increase my cardio and add strength training as well.
I would love to hear other people's success stories. What has worked and what has not.

Thanks. I think I will try to join the challenge. I've never kept a journal before, but I started one yesterday. I'm going to try to update it daily.
 
Girl I so hear you loud and clear. I've had two kids. I went from a 9/10 to 17/18. one month ago I was 214 and now i'm at 202. So here is the scoop on what i'm doing. 45 min a night on my stair climber, Propolene, calcium pills, vitamins, throw out all junk food. Eat smart and health. Don't think about eating all the time cause then your life will be wrapped around food. Think of ways to fill your day, out walkin, walkin the mall, even if your just talkin on the phone, don't sit and talk get up and walk your house (i do that alot lol) but you go girl.
