New - Struggling but trying!

Hi all
I'm new here, my name's Sam. I'm having trouble keeping motivated to lose weight because I don't actually have much to lose....I'd be happy with about 2 or 3kgs because I am not overweight I just have a little extra baggage that I'm keen to get rid of. The thing is though it's hard when there's only a little bit to go, it's hard keeping up with dieting and exercise. So I thought I'd join here where I can focus and see other people making progress to keep me motivated.

Welcome Sam!! Another newbie like me! I am quite similar to you, in that I would be happy losing 5 or 6kgs, I would be ecstatic at 10kgs. I agree with you, it is difficult to keep going when there is not much to lose, especially as it comes of a lot slower than when you have a lot to lose. I hope you and I both have success in reaching our goals with the help of this forum. What I've seen of it so far looks fab!! Good luck and speak to you soon.:)
 
Welcome to our forum! :D There are lots of supportive people here, and some are only trying to lose a small amount as well.

You could start a diary if you'd like. We use them to keep track of calories and exercise, and also help us to keep track of you and your progress.

Thanks so much guys! It seems like a really supportive environment. Urgh had a bad day today, I've been really good for a week but today I had to eat on the run and had a bit of a sugar boost....eh. Never mind just gotta get back into it again, I guess there are always obstacles!
