New Start for Cate's weight

Well today I have been doing well. I have a new plan where each evening I devise the next day's menu, just for one day (as planning to far ahead may mean I won't fancy a certain meal in a weeks time!) So I sit down and think, what I would like to eat tomorrow, work it all out and then follow. Here's what I planned for today:

Fruit salad and mandarine juice

Chicken tikka salad

tuna fish sandwich

snacks: 2 shortbread biscuits, 1 small pkt crisps

So far I've stuck to it and feel satisfied!

Hey mate it’s a wonderful idea to have your menu wrote out for the next day. How did you go today?

I stuck to it! Here in the UK it's late evening and I have written out tomorrows menu, which I am looking forward to. I have allowed for some treats:

Fruit salad with melon

vegetable soup (homemade)
2 bread rolls with finely grated cheese

2x chicken and salad sandwich with low mayo (no butter)

snack: One flake bar and one hot chocolate

My problem is evenings so I am trying to make sure I have some treats then. Mornings I never feel hungry so I will stick to fruit then.
 
Hey Cate! Welcome to the diary section. What's a flake bar? I'm in the US, so I don't know a lot about UK things, but I like to learn. I like treats in the evenings too. I buy Weight Watcher's desserts, which I think you should have over there. They're really good and they satisfy my sweet tooth.

If you've heard of Cadbury's chocolate they do a delicious chocolate bar that is very flakey so there is quite a bit of air in it, therefore it is only 2.5 weightwatchers points. I have had WW desserts but I love real chocolate!

As for today am changing my tracker for 7lb mini goals and I put on a bit of weight over Christmas so I need to reset!

I have stuck to my points again today, I really want to get slim! So fed up with my chubby bits! Here's tomorrows menu:

Melon cubes and orange juice + vits

WW's sandwich and low fat ham and mustard snacks, apple slices

dry roast vegetables with bolognese sauce and mozzarella,

Snack: Options 1 point hot chocloate drink
chocolate biscuit (small!)

I must remember to drink more water, and to drink it between or before meals rather than with.
I've got to get to 12st 7lbs very soon!
 
Hey hun! Just checking in on you! Oooo... Cadbury's .... I love the cream eggs at easter time!! :D ... looks like I wont have any this easter!! ..lol.

Stuck to the pints again today! Here's what's on the menu for tomorrow:

1 banana
glass of orange juice
vits

tuna salad

sliced chicken
2 large freash bread rolls
mayo

Snack
1 light crisps
2 melba toast
hot chocolate

hoping to report weight loss soon!
4 days to go til I weigh in!
 
How many points are you on hun? Good luck with your weigh in, I go back on Monday. Your menu is looking really good but were is your water Hmmm

I drink about 4-5 glasses a day, I know I need to drink more, I am building it up.
I will fill in tomorrows menu tomorrow, as I'm in a hurry tonight! I'm on 24 points a day, by the way. Hope your diet is going well RR:)

On Friday I was 179lbs so I shall change my ticker now! Haven't had much time lately to write menus on here. I write them in my weightwatchers journal too. But it seems to be working. I definitely like planning and having everything ready for the next day.:)

That is wonderful! I know when I keep a food journal and write down my calories and food it helps me alot! Keep up the good work!

From one Kate to another, your doing a wonderful job! I see you have lost 3 pounds now! I kinda cheated and checked my weight before I was supposed to (Mon) and just had to stick a new ticker in there.

I have been so distracted lately, work, kiddies etc.....but still watching my weight. I don't think my weight will change this week, but I've just taken up Salsa so that will help!!;)
 
Sounds like fun, I love dancing.
