new runner needs 12 week training schedule

I had built up from no running to running 3 miles 4 times a week but have developed arthritis in my knees and told not to run. I really think if I can drop 30lbs i will be able to run again and I am presently running on the treadmill as I think it will be easier on my knees. My question is that I did have a training schedule which consisted of a 10 week walk/run schedule which I followed and I want to pass it on to my son so he can join me. Does anyone have a copy of it please? It starts with something like run 3 mins walk 3 mins for 30mins and by week 10 it is run 30mins.
