New- need advice on buying shoes

Hi new here and need some help on buying shoes.Dont know what type and what to look for.I need a good pair for work I stand on concrete for 8 hours.I have been looking at walking and running shoes .Im 32 and have just started having low back pain nothing serious but annoying enough to go see the doctor.Dont know when it started but I know its not from work been there 11 years and had no problems till now.So I think its from sitting too long or wrong on this chair when Im on the computer or while watching tv.Or the shoes I have now which I bought a few months ago.So looking for a good pair of shoes for my feet and back.Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated before I go buying another pair.Thank-you Cathy
