New Mommy Needing Workout Plans!

I had my daughter almost 7 weeks ago! Because of being required to wait until 6 weeks to actually start any form of weight loss routine, I am very nervous to start. I have been doing cardio about 4-5 times a week; 30-40 minutes on the treadmill at a time. Now I want to start getting into using the different machines at the gym to start toning up and losing weight! My wedding is in 2.5 months and i want to look the best i can. I have no idea what sort of workout plan to follow. Any suggestions?!?!
 
As much as you are going to want to push through and go all out right away, definitely start off very slowly and build up gradually. Have you checked out the New Mom's section? You can find it here: http://weight-loss.fitness.com/f/24/new-moms . You might be able to find some information there. Have you talked to your doctor lately about any restrictions?
