Hello, you can call me Holo. I'm a 20 year old female with a long road ahead of me. When I was 13-14 I lost 70 lb (from 210 to 140) by calorie counting and then went up a bit and maintained in the 150s for a few years... until I became a statistic and gained even more back.
It was thanks to a deep depression, switching from veganism back to vegetarianism, and starting antidepressants (the damn things make me ravenous!) that I'm now at 196. (I was at 198 but I've been on track for a few days and dropped some water weight.) The depression is under control and I'm feeling great... but now I'm fat again. ._.
Anyway, I've put my foot down and am starting calorie counting again. I also started Week 1, Day 1 of Couch to 5k last night and have been doing a lot of walking, bicycling, and weighted hula hooping for exercise. I'm determined to get back down to 140 and stay there.
Oh, and I'm 5'6", should probably include that.
