Hi, I am a new member here yet I should have started this journey a while ago! I will give you a bit of a back ground. I am a 42 year old male that is married to a beautiful woman and we have no children. We have a great tme together and love to travel and spend time together. As for myself like I said I am 42, and weigh about 230 pounds and actually carry it well, that is why I never really worried about it to much. I was a chain smoker, smoking about 2 packs or more a day. I quit that habit 3 years ago and have never looked back. The one bad habit I loved more then smoking is drinking(Beer and high end Vodka). I do not think I am an alcoholic but I do drink more then I should. This is what has brought me to this site. I have been told that I have a fatty liver and I am pre type 2 diabetic. Now I am a realist, I will not set goals for myself as I figure I would set a goal, make it there, then fall back. So I am just going to try to follow a good eating plan and not touch alcohol again( it really won't happen but it is wishful thinking) but I am actually going to not drink for at least 3 months. I hope to gain off this site good advice, good life skills, and good friends. I look forward to going on this journey with you all.
