Nice to meet everyone,
I am a 22 year old female, 5'4 currently 150 lbs. In the past four months I have gotten married, switched from a very active job to a desk job, and gained 15 lbs. With the schedules my husband and I lead with work and school, the only hours we have to spend together are from 5:30-7:30 in the morning, and 8-10ish at night, so for the past few weeks we have been walking for a few hours together every morning, to spend time together and be more active, but obviously this isn't enough for weight loss, we would love to spend these mornings working out together, but are having trouble finding workouts to do because he is in much better shape than me. Any ideas? Also, I typically prepare lunches and dinners for both of us, but this is challenging too since I would like to eat low calorie, but he is very skinny with an awesome metabolism and a higher caloric need. To throw another wrench into the mix, we have just started trying to get pregnant, so I want whatever we are doing to be safe if I do get pregnant and am working out for a few weeks without knowing. If anyone has any advice on nutrition, staying active at work with a desk job, workouts we could do together, motivational tactics, or info on exercising while pregnant, all would be appreciated. Thanks for the support.
