Hi everyone. I just joined this site and I'm very excited to share and get to know other people going through the same struggles as me.
A little bit about me...I'm at 26-year-old single mom to a four-year-old. I was a skinny kid but once I hit puberty that all changed. I gained a lot of weight and have been struggling with it ever since. I tried starving myself in high school and lost a lot of weight but gained it back once I realized I was being stupid and what I was doing was very dangerous. Before I knew it I was 200 pounds. I stayed about that size for a while until I had my daughter and then gained 50 which I haven't lost even though I've been trying. It's hard to find time to exercise while trying to take care of a four-year-old but I'm sticking to it this time. I have already cut soda out of my diet as well as chips and any unhealthy snacks. I feel good about this already.
I figured joining this forum would help me stay motivated. It will be nice to have other people to talk to and know that I'm not in this alone.
Thanks for listening and I look forward to sharing and talking to everyone in the future.
