Hi,

My name is Chrissy and I'm new here. I appreciate any advice you may have. I work out faithfully....love to walk and strength train. I walk to 5 miles a day (jogging nearly 1 of those miles) and I strength train some. I have been working out like this for 1 1/2 yrs. I've only lost 10 lbs. HELP. I don't eat a huge amount....around 2000 to 2500 calories a day. I was anorexic when I was 15 so I don't know if it messed with my metabolism or what. Anyway...it's good to be here and look forward to the advice and suggestions.:eek:

Hi Chrissy,
welcome. You will get lots of advice and support here. I'm on a specific diet which doesnt involve exercise. Its pretty strict but yields fast lasting results. I had a pretty screwed up metab before i heard about it, and my hormones were up the creek, so I know what you mean. Have you been having weightloss recently? If so, keep doing what you are doing, but listen and take on board any suggestions which may help, because as they say, slow weightloss does tend to be more permanent, but if you havent lost any for a signicant amount of time, it may be time for a new approach. Whatever the case 10lbs is 10lbs and you are to be commended for perservering. You've gone 18months - too long to stop now!!!
