Ok, so I'm 17... And up until a few months ago I was maintaining a weight of around 55kg.

But i've been living with my boyfriends parents who're basically morbidly obese and eat crap ALL the time... I was there over Christmas so on top of the 250 candy canes I ate (Not kidding) there was trifle, chocolate and all kinds of gross food on offer.

The main reason I don't eat this stuff is because I don't buy it - therefore I can't eat it.

I am now 58kg
Approx. 5'4 tall and VERY unfit.

I'm spending most of the day on the couch (I don't have a job) watching TV and surfing the net... This is nothing unusual. I rarely exercise.

I feel fat :( I have NO muscle and am SOO unfit.

Problem is... I don't eat meat. I don't eat seafood. I don't eat eggs.

My parents are insane and won't allow me to buy anything that's high in preservatives, has sorbitol in it (or any kind of artificial sweetener), anything that's mid - high in salt content.

We live in a remote town so fresh fruit and veggies is out of the question. Forget fresh bread. All bread is frozen.

I don't know how to eat, what to eat or what to do...

It's also very hot here (around 40C everyday) which makes exercising ... difficult.

You're 17yrs old and weigh 128lbs (58kg) and 5'4". You're approx. 22 BMI. There's nothing wrong with that. If you're feeling unfit, start weight lifting (something you can easily do indoors) or start going for walks (something fairly easy to do even when it is hot outside). Some people do Wii fit and it works great for them. Do you have access to computer fitness games? Or, there's always fitness DVDs, or you can download fitness shows through iTunes (I purchased the 30 Day shred and use that when the weather is crappy) or for free I'm sure you can find something on youtube. Be creative.

If it is so gross, why are you eating it? You were ok with the candy canes but not the other foods that are typical as well over the holidays? You can take $20-$30 and stock their house with a few things that you'd like to have at the ready and you know that they may be not likely to touch, such as oatmeal, granola, yogurt, cans of tuna, frozen or canned veggies, etc. I don't understand why you're stuck eating all their "gross" food.

So is chicken ok? Tuna? Milk? Where do you get your protein from? You won't be very sucessful gaining muscle if you don't have a balanced source of protein...you need a variety of sources to get all the amino acids you need. Also, beans are a great source, but again, not complete.

This doesn't make your parents insane. Many people conscious of their food intake watch these things to some degree. Still, as mentioned above, you could get frozen/canned veggies (I prefer frozen hands down over canned- they taste fresher and canned tends to have excess sodium). Besides this, I'm confused...are you living with your parents or your boyfriend's parents? Who then would be responsible for purchasing food for you then? I know your'e 17, but you CAN take control of what food you eat if it is reasonable...you're not asking for lobster dinners, you're asking for certain food choices.

Can't stress it enough- frozen or canned veggies. I don't know where you live and why some sort of farmers market isn't available in your remote area, but even so, your best choice then would be frozen or canned veggies. I'd recommend frozen just because they are my favorite choice when I can't get fresh, and because canned has excess sodium. You can get frozen fruits as well, BTW.

No reason you can't exercise indoors. Get some weights and google full body workouts or resistance training workouts to get you started on what to do. This site has information on what to do as well, so take a good look around at the stickies in the training section.
