Hi all! I came across this site and look forward to learning more about how it all works and what you have here. I had my second child this past April. A big ol' boy (9lbs, 11ozs). He is 3 months and 18 pounds!! He is a very healthy eater! I am breastfeeding so that adds to my dieting dilema. I gained about 50 pounds with this pregnancy (first one I gained 35 and lost it pretty fast). ! am 5'9 and down to 174. I need to lose another 20 lbs and would love to do another 10 after that. The scale seems to be stuck at this 174 give or take a couple pounds. I go from 173 to 176. This has been going on for the past 3 weeks. I plan on nursing for a year so I need to eat healthy and all. As big as he is- you would think he was sucking all the fat from my body- oh, how I wish. I seem to hear all the stories about those moms who BF and lost all their weight. Not me- or it is just taking longer than I anticipated. Plus I go back to work in Sept. I'd like to fit into my old clothes. I gained it all in my tummy too. Everyone would say- you look so good... it is all in your tummy. I felt good about how I looked. But now I wish it wasn't all in my belly!! I feel like I run all day between my 3 year old girl and the new one. I am trying to make time to take care of myself. Blah- blah- blah... any other people tryng to get rid of those post pregnancy pounds. Thanks for listening and look forward to some chatting! Jod :)

Similar dilemma

Hi Jod,

I had a baby girl 8 months ago and I too haven't lost all my weight. Or rather, I reached my pre-pregnancy weight, only to gain 10 lbs. back within 3 weeks. I have been eating like crazy and am unable to control what I eat now that I am a stay-at-home mom. I would love it if we can support each other and lose those lbs fast!!!
