Hi there,
I'm Vaughan. I am 23, 5' 11 and I was 17st 3lbs as of 2 weeks ago. I am following the Slimming World Green Day plan with the occasional red day (for the BBQ weather). I am now 16st 7lbs and feeling great.
I used to have a problem with my weight when I was in my early teens but I put it down to bad parenting and my subsequently developed habit of seeking comfort in biscuits. I joined the Royal Navy at 16 and the weight dropped off. I left and then fell into bad eating habits.
My heighest weight was a few months after my 21st birthday. I weighed something around the 18st/19st mark (in betweenish) and was horrified. I lost some weight following Slimming World but owing to exam pressures I started snacking instead of following strict plans. I got down to 16st 3lbs but I went back upto 17st 8lbs sometime in March this year.
I have now started Slimming World again and coupled with a tough boxing regime, cycling 20 miles some days during the week and joggin in the mornings, I hope to lose the weight and keep it off.
