Hey all. Just thought that I would get on here to 1. say hello and 2. share my blog with you all. It is at Link Removed It is nothing I am trying to sale, nothing. It is literally a journal. Weight loss daily and a life changing blog/diary I guess. I am like anyone else on here. I am out of shape, over weight, and freaking tired of it. It is time to move. Follow along if you want. I am going to get at it tomorrow. We will see how it goes.

Thanks for reading :)

Hi Chris, I want to start a weight loss program, maybe we could support each other along the road! Sally

Hey Sally, welcome to the forum! I think you'll find the Keto diet like any other fad diet... not sustainable. I would highly recommend starting a diary in the diary section. There you can start logging your food intake and maybe getting some feedback on some things that you could change. One of the best things you can do is to write down everything that you eat for a few days and start making changes from there! Once it's all written down, sometimes you can really see what your intake is like and compare that to your activity level. The only way to lose weight is to consume fewer calories than your body uses. Unless you have allergies, there is really no reason to cut out any food groups all together. Usually this is what makes fad diets unsustainable in the long term! Good luck! Let us know if you have questions

Yes, keto diet does work successfully. It helps keep your carbs low so you don't spike your insulin levels as much throughout the day. You have to be sure to do your research and study on it because if done incorrectly you can send your body into ketosis and that isn't something you want. Keto is a recommended for weight loss.

Keto is sustainable, but it must be done in a healthy way, there is a difference between a healthy moderate protein keto and the poor quality hight fat keto with a lot of processed "ketofied foods"

you can send your body into ketosis

This is the whole point of a keto diet, I think you are getting confused with ketoacidosis which is entirely different.
