Basically...

I am on a weight loss journey! In 2014 I was weighing in at 230, so I went on a weight loss journey and got down to 200, by that time it was November 2014. I cannot remember when I started. But by January of 2015 I fell off and eventually gained back 21 pounds making me 221 pounds so I attempted to go on a weight loss journey again. Over the course of that whole entire year I only lost 7 pounds proving that my heart was not in it. So in 2016 I said no more! I am tired of being this way and restarted my weight loss journey in February at 214 pounds....I have a YouTube channel if you would like to check me out & follow along on my journey and see what I am currently weighing in at now! :)

But anyways...Let's be friends and make convo?

Hi, The weight loss journey that you were on, what was it? Was it dieting? exercise? What was it that you changed that made you feel not to put your heart in it anymore?
It was dieting and restriction. Truth, I think was scared. I've been heavy most of my life and used it as an excuse to not live my life. So when I actually started to lose the weight I realized when the weight is gone I can no longer say, "I can't do that because I'm fat..." You know? I love sweets and was tempted and I gave into temptation...BUT I'm on a new path now with my weight loss and I'm doing pretty good.

That's awesome to hear you are ready to pick up where you left off! The best thing we can be is an excuse remover! Even if we are removing the excuse from ourselves! I am a fan of sweets myself, but I personally chose to eliminate processed sugar from my diet all together for a solid 5 months and it changed my life. Where are your goals at now? If you don't mind me asking?

I can't completely cut sweets out of my life, so I treat myself every now and then, like food is meant to be eaten, sweets to be enjoyed, what is life without enjoying what you love right? So I just eat sweets in moderation, I have control over it now. I lost 20 pounds so far in the last couple of months putting me @ 194-193, my goal is to get to 175 and then from there 150. I have a YouTube channel where I document my entire weight loss journey, you should check it out, it's LeClair Shy.
