Background:
Until the age of 22 I was a size 2 with tone, but not a lot of muscle. I began lifting heavy and living a bodybuilding style life to hopefully compete in fitness competitions at that time and thus began my problems. The extreme dieting and changes in food obsessions (along with other personal life issues...guys)lead to binge eating where I gained a total of 30 lbs--10 being muscle and 20 being pure fat. Since then I've lost about 12 lbs. but can't seem to get back to the size 2 I'd like to be. I have not lifted weights in about 1.5-2 months and have just recently starting running.
Plan:
My current plan of attack is a daily clean diet of 1400-1700 calories. This includes lean proteins, beans, oats, potatoes, rice, ww-low carb-tortillas, some MRP, nuts and peanut butter, cottage cheese, ff milk and cheese, fruit, and veggies.
My plan is also to do cardio only and stop lifting as I no longer want size but want to be small. I will probably lift again once the fat starts to come off.
Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated!!
This has really impacted my self-esteem and I have been very depressed/doubtful about it all. I am hoping that this is the time that I am able to get back to myself.
