Hello,

I am a student trying to lose about 35-40lbs over the next few months... It's been really hard to watch what I eat with three all-you-can-eat meals a day, complete with all the ice cream a kid could ever want (hey, at 21 I still qualify) and roommates who seem to have a daily subscription to the local pizza place. I used to be able to lose weight pretty rapidly, but have been gaining steadily for the past two years and I now this endeavor will be somewhat of a challenge...

I'll try to jump-start my diet with a few days of raw veggies, exclusively--I've noticed in the past that my skin also benefits from that--as well as jogging on the local 3-mile trail, daily. Ah, who am I kidding, I can't jog, but walking still counts, right? I don't have the courage to show up at the gym yet...

I was in a bike accident recently (hit & run), and my insurance finally agreed to pay for surgery to fix a couple of scars on my face before Christmas, so I'm determined to look my best for the new year. I've made up my mind not to fail this time... What will I be doing different? I am going to ask for all the help that I can get!!

Any ideas for successful weight loss for busy people on a budget?

Busy people on a budget?? hum.....

Well, for busy people I'd suggest Lean Cusines or Smart Ones (not healthy choice!) they are really good tasting and quick to make. BUT they arn't really 'cheap" they range from $2-$4 a meal.

What kind of diet are you thinking about??

Good luck JutaAn, were here for you!
