Hi, I'm hoping by joining and becoming active in this forum, I can help keep myself accountable. I'm well into my weight loss journey, but I've let myself slip this last year and gained 30lbs back. I got a new job and I'm very active there, but I'm usually drained by the end of the day and it causes me to overeat. I also don't make the best choices and I drink more wine than I should. Now that I'm not working for several more weeks due to the coronavirus, I've noticed myself ballooning.

I've been overweight my entire life up until a couple years ago. My biggest was 230lb. When I lost that weight, I hovered around 170-180lb for a couple years until I suffered a big break up and life change. Last June, right before I started my job, I was at 133 and I was happy with my body for the first time in my life. I also moved in with my now fiance, which probably also contributed to the weight gain. I weighed myself a couple days ago and I was 165. I'm ashamed that I'm slipping again and just lacking motivation. I'm hoping to get some here and also make some friends along with way. It's always good to know that you're not alone.

Hey Kayla, welcome, and you are not alone!

To get started I suggest you start a diary on the weight loss diary page (https://weight-loss.fitness.com/forums/weight-loss-diary.9/ ) and tell us more about yourself and your goals. Your first post is a good start, you could even cut and paste it into the first page of the diary.

All of us are here for reasons similar to yours, you are in good company.
