I have a friend who is really struggling to shed the lbs. She has been working out EVERYDAY and eats fairly healthy. I think she's getting more and more frustrated when she see's how much I've lost in a short time but she's not really seeing any changes. She is a pear shape woman with a belly if that helps. Thanks I appreciate all the advice in advance.

The equation is simple... if your calories result in a caloric deficit then you will lose weight... it doesn't matter how much exercise you are doing... if you are consuming more calories than your body can burn then you will not lose weight... so if she's not losing weight then she needs to adjust her eating.

Get her to start recording her daily intake of calories... too often we think we are eating well but don't realise how many calories we are consuming.

yeah, pretty much what was said above.

Exercise is only a small part of the equation. If she's not controlling her diet, then she's not going to lose weight. She needs to figure out how many calories she's eating and what her nutrition look slike.

You must remember if she is exercising a lot she may gain weight because muscle weight more than fat. I dont know if that will help your friend at all but just keep being there for her. i hope she does well.
