Need your immiediate help, 3 days left...

I have a big problem.

Here is what happened. 3 months ago i started a running routine usually 5 days a week sometimes 4. On the first day i ran about 800m at medium pace (bout' 8km/h), slowly increasing everyday.

The two months ago i finally got a treadmill. I did progressive overload on that until I was running 6 k at about 11km/h. continuous. (35 mins)

Then a few weeks ago i started building up my short distance speed.
Last week i was able to run 3.2 kilometers at 13 km/h.

So we all can see my improvement since the first run ...

But this week during the past few days i was totally and completely puffed after a measly 1.2km at the same speed (13km/h)


WHATS HAPPENING??? I'M 15!! and my school cross-country is on FRIDAY, 3 days from now!!

I trained for 3 months , come rain, hail, or sun... and on the last minute i am stuffed!! :bncry:


PLZ PLZ PLZ HELP, what do you think it is, sleep, diet ?? i don't know :bncry:
 
You probably need rest. Muscle regenerate and build when you are resting, they break down when you are working. I would recommend taking the next three days off.
 
Agree with RedT. I can go through times where my running is just effortless...then I can have a week where it takes all I have just to get a mile in!! Take some time off, you might be amazed at how refreshed you will come back.
