Sport Need your expertise for this diet

Hey all,
I'm new to this forum, and I have a problem in my quest to get abs - my diet is not good. :(

Apart from fruit/veges, eggs and water, what else should I be looking at eating. Has anyone got a summary of a great diet OR know of other food that I should be looking at eating. I'm stuck, and that is why I came to you guys for help.

1. determine your daily maintenance calories
2. reduce by 10-20%
3. eat 1g of protein per pound of lean body mass, up to 1.25g
4. eat .4-.5g of fat per pound of lean body mass, even split between saturated, poly, and mono unsaturated
5. 25g of fiber a day if not more
6. the rest of your calories will come from carbs, which likely won't exceed 1g per pound of lean mass on a cutting diet, unless you take a carb cycling approach.
