Hi all,
I am looking to lose the fat around my mid-section (belly/love handles) while also re-toning the muscle I know is hidden behind all the fat. Many years ago, I was a fairly muscular guy with a little bit of extra fat, but over the years the fat has continued to increase. There's a lot of reasons for this, I know. Bad diet, not enough water, too much soda. I have taken steps to improve those particular areas of my lifestyle and have lost about 7-8 pounds in a month. At some point, making those changes will not be enough to continue losing weight. I have also recently signed up at a gym (2 weeks ago) and have been going at least 3-4 times a week. I've started mostly with cardio exercises, but have read many things that say to really lose the fat, I need to start lifting weights as well. Was curious if there are any "exercise plans" out there to help with my particular goals. I have contemplated meeting with one of the trainers at the gym, but thought I'd see if there are any "free" tips out here on the Internet first. Thanks.
