need to get it down(time)

ok i took my screening test, i failed my run by ONE freaking minute. so i want to get that down in the next 2 weeks.

i have to run 1 1/2 mi in under 11:30 in boots and pants

i got 12:32, i plan on running 6 days a week 2 mi distance. in my boots and pants. and wearing ankle weights (not to run) juwst around the house and at work. to focus on my task at hand.

my question s is it possible to get my time down in that littelbit of time. and and if not how long should i expect to get that down? my 1mi was good, 7:20 its the last half mi that gets me.

any ideas or thought wll be appriciated. i need to get atleast a minute off my time.

thanks for reading.

OK... style... speed is in running style. You might try a slight style adjustment. try it for a quarter and see how it feels.

think "how the deer and antilope play" strength, spring, health, lean

think of a rolling heel into an energetic ball of foot "propelling you forward" verses up and down. Lean forward enough to feel like you are falling forward and then back off enough to have good balance.

remember,,, running is forward motion.

"how the deer and antilope play" - mentals- will take a 5.5 minute mile into the high fours, by just using the brain better.

credit goe to 'the pose' running style.
