I'm sorry if this has been done a bunch of times already, but I need some meal input. I'm trying to lose some weight and body-fat. Right now, I'm about 6'2" and 245 lbs or so. I've recently started back into exercising everday. The hardest part of losing weight for me is the healthy eating. I'm a college student and for me and my busy schedule its mostly "what's quick and available." I was wondering about some nice meal or food plans I could use, something I can buy in large amounts and cook in large amounts to spread out over the week.
Breakfast is usually one of these: egg whites, yogurt, and/or oatmeal
Snacks: bananas/apples, celery..etc
And for the other meals, I usually eat some chicken, beef, turkey, or tuna with some brown rice or vegetables...and a salad.
I'm mostly asking for other options so I don't get burnt out on these same routines too quickly.
Since I've started my diet last week my fitness level has been like this: every day, I tend to get up early and walk/run 2 miles, and then usually some sport event in the evenings such as raquetball with friends. I'm not really sure about my calorie intake per day, but I don't feel like I'm over eating or undereating.
Thanks for any input!
