Hello im new here im needing some help. I used be really fit in high school but I graduated 2 years ago and now im in college, I have gained 40lbs and its killing me to have it.I go to nursing school all day and i work all night so i have not as much time to work out as i used to. I used be a power weight lifting captain and i love weights but my arms and legs rnt the problem its all in my waist. Could any one suggest some work outs to get ride of this tummy weight its driving me crazy. if any one could help me I would be so grateful thanks alot!!!

Hi Iceburg, and welcome to our forum! I can probably answere almost any of your dieting questions, lol, but I'm no good for weight lifting questions. I know a few girls here that lift weights, I"ll make sure they know about you :)

unfortunately you can't usually target loose - and tummy chub seems to be the hardest place to get rid of - it is usually the last to go...

One of the best things to start doing would be cardio workouts... that is a huge way to burn the fat... There are also a number of weight exercises you can do that will target that area... There is a torso machine (you sit and rotate left and right) that will work the lovehandles, some ab crunch machines... or you can simply take a weight in each hand, stand up straight and bend at the waist from side to side...

for focus on my abs, I do crunches - 25 regular w/ my feet in the air; 25 on each side; 25 lower abs (raise and lower legs instead of chest)..

Good luck!
