Need some help

I'm having a little problem...its my schedule. I usually wake up at 5 AM, feed my daughter, eat some breakfast (usually cottage cheese and some fruit and yogurt or cereal and milk and yogurt), then leave for work at 6:30 AM. I work till 12 PM when I get lunch for an hour (whatever is healthiest that is provided to us) then go back to work till 6 PM, drive back home, usually getting in about 6:45 PM, feed my daughter, bathe her, put her down for bed, then get some sort of dinner around 7:30 PM(whatever is quick and easy to eat and mutritious), then by 9 PM or 10 at the latest I'm in bed. Sometimes I can even get to the gym between dinner and bedtime for some weight training and cardio.

I work in a laboratory on human body fluid specimens, so food and drink are not allowed at all, and we're too busy for me to take 5 minute breaks during the moring and afternoon to get any snacks, or to even drink enough water during the day.

Any suggestions on how I can lose more body fat? I usually consume about 1400 calories a day, weigh about 130 lbs, am 5'5" and obviously am female. :) My current body fat % is about 30%.

OH, My Gosh. That is one hectic schedule. I am a single father of two, but since I own my own company I am able to excercise after I take my children to school.

I only have a few suggestions.

The first would be taking a 30min brisk walk (not power walk) in the evening or during lunch. This will help burn some calories, without causing a sweat, and help increase your metabolism.

The second is some type of training at home. If you are just looking to loose weight, there a TONS of videos that you can use. Some require balls or light weights, but most can be done just in your living room in front of the TV.

What ever you do, the biggest key is to keep your caloric intake below your calories burned. Check out and check what your daily burn is.

Good luck and, of course, Welcome :)
