Hey y'all,
My girlfriend has, her entire life, had issues with gaining weight. She's always had a fast metabolism but recently she's lost interest with food so we're looking for an alternative way to try to pack some fat on her. I'm not sure she'll ever be a body builder, but right now she's a 20 year old girl that's about 5'8" and only weighs 85 pounds. What we're aiming for is just a healthy weight (she always said she'd be happy with an extra 20-30lbs), and to achieve it as soon as possible. Something important to note though is that every time we've brought her into a doctor they've just told us she naturally has a high metabolism, so this isn't a thyroid issue or anything of the sort.
It sounds like Carb Powder might be the way to go, but most of the advice we're running into is aimed at either a) men or b) people already at a healthy weight that are just trying to add mass.
I figured the best way to find out what our best course of action is is to contact the experts in the community themselves just to see what y'all think. This weight problem has had an enormous effect on both her energy and body image and has become an increasingly burdensome worry in both our lives. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, the stuff we've been looking at so far:
Carbo Gain
SportPharma CARB Max
Optimum Serious Mass
