Cellulite has been found to be indistinguishable from ordinary fat in every medical and scientific test. It is not proven whether any cosmetic lotion, massager or pills can reduce/increase cellulite versus ordinary fat. The only known way to reduce the appearance of cellulite is to reduce overall body fat by altering diet or exercise

Hi Mandie
I'm no expert, so take whatever I have to suggest in that context
. However you do it - good luck to you, its achievable and you are taking control!
Cellulite is body fat. To reduce weight, we have to cut calories. However, its all too easy to accidentally lose weight from muscle and non-fat mass as well as lose it from the body fat. This actually damages our chances of long-term weightloss, as it reduces our metabolism. Therefore we exercise - not just to burn calories, but to maintain our muscle and cardio-respiratory system, and to fuel our metabolism.
Any cardio exercise would be great. Strength training would be a great bonus, as it would help you to protect that metabolism as your calorie cutting and cardio burns away at the fat. What I personally would recommend is that you find forms of exercise that you could seriously continue long-term and post-weightloss. This might be walking, jogging, swimming, cycling, gym, yoga, dance etc. I like going to gym, but it seems to me that most gym users are there regular for a matter of days, weeks, or months at best. The hardcore of long-term gym users are rarer beasts. Find something that you
enjoy doing - be it inside the gym, at home, or outdoors!
