Need personal trainer/coach recommendations

I've used one before and wasn't too happy with her. I'm in IL (sw suburbs of chicago) and don't belong to a gym. I'm focused on weight loss or rather inch-loss. Not much though. I've been working out and exercising and eating healthy for many years and never see any positive differences.
Anyone had any luck w/personal trainers in my area?

So everyone has had a sucky experience? Wow.

Why would you assume that? Just because most of us haven't had a personal trainer or simply choose not to answer this thread doesn't mean you should have a bad attitude about it!
Not only that, you didn't really say much of anything, if you want people to discuss their experiences
maybe you should try to describe yours first!
I'm sorry that this thread hasn't generated more responses, but think about it....
If we had personal trainers, why would we feel the need to come here?

Also, you're asking a lot - you want somebody in your area, who hired a personal trainer and had a good experience. Maybe there just isn't a person like that on this board?

Personally, I'm not from your area, never had a personal trainer, and therefore never had any experience with them. So I didn't reply to this thread. Every other person who didn't fit the requirements probably dismissed it as well. That's why you didn't get the responses you were looking for.

I'm sorry I didn't mean to come off that way. I was just hoping someone had. I've tried so many other things (not fads mind you) and this is just tough. Thanks anyway.

Really, it's not that tough. You just have to adjust what you eat. When you reduce most of your fat and sugars you'll find that you'll get full much faster.
A daily exercise program is a HUGE help as well.
Eat a huge chicken or turkey salad! Even with a healthy serving and low fat dressing, you'll have a hard time going over 600 calories. And it ALWAYS fills me up!
