Sport Need more calories

Sport Fitness
Hey guys, I've been trying to take in about 2300 calories per day but lately I'm having a hard time! Currently I use fitday as a guide, I know it can be off but lately my average is 1800, sometimes as low as 1500 per day.

My goal is to build some muscle right now, but I've noticed that I've lost a little more weight, and I don't want to go backwards on my muscle results.

I'm very active, work out 4-5 days a week, rest for two. (5'1" about 110 now-was 112, started 116 before new program)My typical days consist of:

1 egg white, 1 egg wheat toast or oatmeal
cottage cheese with berries
tuna sandwich with lettuce tomato and one veggie with 2 egg whites
cottage cheese (again, I know) with some egg whites
chicken, fish or pasta, one veggie
protein shake post workout...

Can anyone suggest 'good' high calorie meals?

1/2 avocado has 165 calories, 6 g carbs, 2 g protein, 15 g fat. It's good fat. :)

Sunflower seeds.

50g has about 12g protein, 29g fat (3 sats, 26g good fats), 330 calories.

I eat it ALL the time. Takes a while to chew and stuff, (10~ minutes per 100g) but it's good stuff. Personally, I get unsalted because it's easier to chew, and there is a significance in the sodium when you eat as much as me daily.

Thanks guys! I'll try all of those things...I actually also started drinking my protein supplement drink not just post work out but one in the middle of the day as well...:)

Just Venting!!

 Ok, I know I got good suggestions, I'm just venting!!!!! ARGH!!!!! I need to eat more but lately I just can't!! I was doing really good, I need to get my butt in gear!!

Okay beamer you vented. Now take a deep friiggin breath. We all (well most of us) go off track at times. It's okay. :) Now like you said just get your butt in gear. You'll be fine :p

I know, especially since I was starting to see good changes...It's too hot to eat (if that makes sense lol), it's been in the 100s lately...

Thanks :)

Yeah I can understand about the heat. My cals go down slightly on hot days also, especially humid days. Friggin humidity s*cks. Anyway, you'll be okay. You know what you gotta do :)
