Sport Need Help.

Hello,

I'm 15 years old, 150 lbs, and 6'1 ft tall. I recently bought optimum nitrocore 24 protein shake and I need help. I read a protein shake guide and learned that I should take 1 - 1.5 grams per lb of weight per day. Also, that I should drink it in the morning, before and after exercise(I'm doing swimming), between meals, and before I got to bed(then sleep for at least 7 hours). But, one thing I don't understand is how many grams I should take in the morning, before and after exercise, between meals, and before I got to bed. Finally, I swim 6 days a week, never on sunday; therefore, what should I do on sunday? Should I still find some kind of exercise and drink the protein shake or is it okay if i make sunday my break and not drink it.

Don't over think things. You're 150lbs, and a swimmer. you want 150-225g of protein per day, divided pretty evenly amongst all your meals.

You do NOT need to take that shake morning, noon, pre, post workout and at bedtime.

two shakes per day, max. one as a snack and one post workout should be sufficient. get the rest from whole foods: eggs, steak, chicken, cottage cheese, etc.
