Hello my name is Rob and I am a 23 year old man who has been overweight my entire life. Lol, wow, sounds like an AA confession, but you know what it kind of is. Anyway, a few months ago I decided that was going to stop so I made out a chart and system for myself. In this "system" I set realistic goals and everything is working right on schedule. Only thing is I missed one small detail. I've been overweight my entire life and my skin has adjusted itself to forming around that. Well since this new found wonder of losing weight I'm also noticing my skin is starting to take the form of an 80 year old man. So here I am at the mercy of anyone who has gone or going through the same experience I am currently faced with. I do not have nearly enough money for plastic surgery and am confident that there is a way out there that I can finally obtain the figure that a healthy 23 year old man should have. So in that respect I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone can offer. Also if you would like to know how I created this system let me know on here and I would be more than happy to inform and help you with finding the right system for you so that you don't have to go through any more grueling hours of research and frustration like I did. Once again thank you for your time.

What is your current stats, diet, and workout routine like?

my routine

Well I started out at 260 lbs at 6'1. The date I started was December 12. My goal was to lose 3 lbs a week. I gave myself 26 weeks to do it in because I know every week is not going to be the same and I will eventually hit a plateau. My main routine consists of just simply eating better and getting on an Olyptical and constantly one upping myself. Thats to not only build up my selfesteem and confidence in what I can do but to also not allow myself get used to the workout. Also I drink water at the recommended amount. Since then I have dropped from 260 to 235 and continuously right on schedule. Other than that I really don't do much yet, but I am joining a yoga class and a core fitness class and see if it helps.

from what I know and in general experience of things I've seen on reality TV shows, people who get to a size that leave them with excess skin after losing weight, have to have it surgically removed.

Now this next part may not be directly link with the excess skin, but the thing is this:

Muscle cells - when you weight train, your body adds new muscle cells to increase muscle size... if you stop - the cells will reduce in number.

Fat cells - when you eat more calories than your body needs, your body adds fat cells... these are permanent! when you lose weight, the cells with reduce in size - but the same amount of cells are still there...

just some info for you :)
