any insider ideas on how to move a bit more?!?!?!? seriously... frustrating!!!

I am pretty stict with my diet... to be generous... i prolly take in between 1200-1500 calories a day... 1500 being a stretch!

i work my butt off 5-6 days a week at the gym lifting and cardio.....

I know the closer you are to a lower weight the harder the loss is.... but i have been between 127-125 since beginning of july... hmmmm

at least im maintaining...

id love some insight... i have 5-10 more lbs left!!!

help me!!!!!! :coolgleamA:
:iagree:

Marie - maybe taking a break from trying to lose for a bit would help? I know a lot of people have said that the last 10 lbs is really tough and I'm wondering if giving it a month or so for your body to regroup would help?

How's your protein intake looking? Maybe switching up your macros for a few weeks? I know that people who are trying to really drop body fat have done so by bumping up protein and dropping carbs for a short while ...

Just a few suggestions that you might try! :)

Are you still keeping a eye on your sodium. I had taken my eyes off that ball and sorting that out is what got me finally down to goal. Keep it under 2400mg each day.

My doctor has me keeping the sodium on the higher side because of my fainting spells..... im not sure why though.

Kara- yes... i need to up the protein i think...... thanks for the advice!

I did take a week off just a little while ago. My fear though is taking too much time off will make it really hard for me to start things up again...

A week or two eating at maintenance can do the trick.

When you start things up again, work in periodic refeeds.

Up your protein.

Answer this question: Why do you want to get to a specific weight? Or is it a matter of wanting something in terms of physique. If it's the latter, optimize your strength workouts with a routine such as the one outlines in the "Conceptual Side of Weight Lifting" sticky.

Then - you should most definitely be following the doctor's orders.

It may explain why the weight isnt coming off the way that it was though. Maybe you shouldnt worry about it too much because it could well be that you have burnt the fat that would get you to goal - but are carrying some extra water while the doctor feels that this is appropriate.

I would definitely be following the advice that the others have given.

COOL-Ness This Is Exactly the same advice I gave in another thread (the 120 club), Marie. ;) But from the pro's!!!

AWESOME, I am learning after all!! :D
