the red marks are from where i was ''itching'' as people call it for a few seconds lol . i know im skinny but when i look down at my stomach , especially when i sit , it looks ugly an i feel like im fat even though im not . im 20 . 6'2 , 162lbs. i was 250 2 years ago . i work at a warehouse so im walking 6 out of 8 hours of the day . also lifting stuff , etc . i hear sit ups dont work . just someone plz gimme a diet / excersie plan that wont kill me or a bunch of organic , weird imported recipes , i hate that . no one has that stuff around there house lol . i think i just need to tone up and not lose any more weight. though i wouldnt mind getting down to at least 150 or somewhat lower. :) everyone tells me im skinny but they dont know when i lift up my shirt which i dont in front of them of course. if the pictures dont show try this http://i31.tinypic.com/k2bl9u.jpg http://i31.tinypic.com/66hvo0.jpg

Do you lift weights? What it looks to me is that you're what we call "skinny fat" - that is you're at a reasonably healthy weight, but you have no developed muscle.

I'd suggest looking into a good weight lifting program - something like the New Rules of Lifting (you can get it at any book store). Combine that with a healthy eating program that includes plenty of protein and avoiding simple carbs and starches (but including complex carbs like whole grains, oats, etc) and you should see some pretty rapid results.

thanks for the advice. I was working out but everytime i get into it i get a minor case of a hemmorhoid . Its not bad but it hurts then takes about a week to go away . Im not overlifting or squating

You quit working out when you get a hemorrhoid? Oooookey. I'm not really sure what one has to do with the other, but ... ok.

i figured it would make it worse . The more i tried to continue the worse it got . Those that have had them know what im talkin about

Um .. not to get too personal, but I have had them before. I have never seen them as a reason to quit working out. What kind of exercise are you doing that causes you to strain in a way that makes hemorrhoids worse?

Your best bet is to deal with the hemorrhoids directly. Stock up on some treatment and start taking care of the problem. Yes, the straining of working out can irritate them, as can another million things - like NOT exercising. But the workouts aren't the problem - it's the hemorrhoids themselves, so get dealing with that first. Go to the doctor.

With that said, abs are virtually made in the kitchen. Weight training will help increase your lean mass which will get your metabolism up - but you're eating habits have to support your training. If you eat well and don't train ... your results will be limited. If you train well and eat like shit .. your results will limited.
