Need help training for cross country

I am currently 16, 6'1, about 180lb and I dont know the % of body fat there is on my body. Here are a few pictures. To me, I think i have a very fat lower body such as thighs and buttocks. I need help on how to train for this inter-school cross country competition. Cross country is a course of 6.5 km run. I will really appreciate it if there are details on what to do each week etc.

hey im 16 too...and i have 2 records in my country for inter school cross country...allrite let me get this straight ur 16 and ur quiet tall which is good for cross country...but from wat i saw in pics its better if u lose some weight, thats wat i did...im 5'10 and im 140 lbs...so for wat to do... wen will this competition take place???i just wanna know how much time u have... let me...

well then....u better start loosin some weight...run everyday to higher ur stamina...and swim to make sure u dont have ne problems with breathin...oh and remember never run too fast...try runin for 30 mins constant speed..if ur stomach starts paini continue just with a lower speed...(u should run at an avg of 8 km per hour)...it will be hard the first few days but itll be ok after a while...and can u get me the record of this competition cause i wanna know how fast u should run.
P.S.make sureur shoes are as tight as possible cause i missed this years competition because i got injured(cause of my shoes).

thanks, i also want to know should i use running machines or should i run outdoor? I know running machines are not realistic enough but running outdoor is even worst, i live in hong kong and it is full of air pollution, A few weeks ago, this 16 yr old kid died in HK by running 400m :/. and the guy who is first this year got 25:37 mins

mmm...ok its better to train outdoor but in your case run on the machines and every weekend run outside...to avoid havin problems with oxygen try drinikin the O2 water which have more oxygen than normal water....and i guess if u run with 8 km per hour for 30 minss ur gonna be ok...but remember start with a lower speed cause u have 1 year and u should take it easy theres no need to hurry but if u loose some weight its gonna be very easy...oh and its better using runin or football shoes because they are made for this kind of use!!!
