Hey guys, love the

I am here to day telling you that I am developing a new diet program which I used myself to loos a lot of wieght, but wanted to do more then just another program, and that is way I will write an ebook on the diet. I need you to help me make the best product as possible, to do this you go to my research website and submit questions on what should be in a quality E-book. The first 50, will get a free copy on the book when it is done. to submit your question go to LINK DELETEDand hope to hear from you.

Best regards

Karsten

Diet programs are pretty retarded if you ask me. I've been doing this a long time (helping people lose weight that is) and can say without a doubt that there isn't one singular approach that works well for everyone.

With that in mind, people who sell a singular way to lose weight are selling snake oil from my perspective.

I mean, there are diet programs out there that I like. But they are for very particular populations and goals. I can't think of one book written for 'general fat loss' for 'anyone looking to lose fat' that I'd be willing to spend money on.

To boot, I know a good amount of information and I can't think of a way to even start writing a 'general fat loss' book given the complexities and individualities that exist.

Do you have a particular population you are planning on targeting?

Why don't you share some of the basic premises of 'your diet' before you go soliciting help from the forum? You have my ears...

well the basic Idea, is that I will use the approach I used to loose weight, myself (low calorie diet). Then I want to have some chapter targeting different populations, in terms of how much time they have to workout, a day. The thing is I seen so many half baked diet ideas, some wanted to make a fully baked one, with workout tips. So just wanted to know what people feel should be in a fully baked diet book.

how much weight did you lose
how long did it take you?
What were your methods that are different than every other program out there?

have you even bothered to do any reading on this site -other than posting drivel to up your post count so you could post a link that just gets deleted anyhow?

and just a tip for your book - you LOSE weight - you do not LOOSE weight - your pants become LOOSE as you LOSE weight...

Yea this...

To add, what is your definition of "low calorie?"

Any low calorie diet will work assuming it's consistently adhered to and the only thing the reader/client is interested in is the number on the scale.

What are your training philosophies?

I lost 35 pounds in 2 month, by using a low calorie diet shake, while eating extra proteins then after two weeks I made a hardcore workout program. Then I stopped the low calorie diet after 5 weeks, continued the workout, 2 weeks later started on the same diet again, and routine helped me lot. Of course this is not for everyone but want to tweak the basic ideas so everyone can use it with success.

I used to play Ice Hockey on a high level, so used some of the same ideas, a mix of cardio and lifting weights. Then week after week I will build on the level of the two till I reach what I call the hardcore level or military level of workout, but it takes more then a month to get there. It also depends on the time I have everyday, if I have a lot of time I will do medium intensity and if I do not have a lot of time I will do high intensity for 15 min. Got to say the latter really kicks your ass.

So let me get this straight...

You've lost some weight. Nothing compared to others around here, mind you... which I mean no offense by.

Now you think you are qualified to write a weight loss book?

This is exactly what is wrong with this industry.

I used a 800 calorie diet, the shakes are like slimfast, but are also used for wiegh control at hospitals, it is called NUPO and can be bought in Scandinavia.

I weigh 242 lbs now but use to weigh about 280 and are still losing consistent lbs. I am 25 years of age and and I am 6.2

Steve when I look around the forum or surf the net, I see all these easy way out products and diet programs, and wanted to make something different, by giving people tools I learned from my hockey days, so it is not just about the diet, but more about the total process of losing weight. There is no easy way out, and that is what I want to state with book, but also give different tools to different populations. That is also why I am asking for a little help, about what should be in a ebook about diet if one of you guys wrote it or would even consider reading it.

you dont think an very limited calorie diet relying on shakes ISN'T the easy way out?

Lifestyle change IS what works long term

maleficent I do not see it as the easy way out, but as a way out that works and a good kick starter. The product I use is something that works and as I said is also used at the hospital. The way I used is the hardcore way, and is not for everyone and for sure not the easy way out. I totally agree with you that it is all about changing you lifestyle, but I see this method as a good kick starter.

Yea, but you didn't look around this forum very long at all to jump to the conclusion that this place was full of "easy way out products and diet programs."

I watched you sign up.

I watched you reply to a bunch of posts with absolutely no substance so you could build up your post count enough to post this thread.

If you did your research a bit, you'd understand that this community is different than the rest.

Sure, there are a few threads about gimmicky diets. But that's out of what? maybe hundreds of thousands of threads full of good stuff?

And my question still remains... you are just now figuring out what works for YOU in terms of weight loss, right? So what qualifies you to write a book?

Do you not see the problem?

This industry attracts many, many people who are interested in one thing: MAKING MONEY.

Nothing more nothing less. And when you have someone coming into a forum, without ever really reading the forum at all or knowing anything about it, who is, himself, just figuring out about his own weight loss... yet wants to write a book to sell to people about weight loss... I have a real issue with that.

I totally agree with you that it is all about changing you lifestyle, but I see this method as a good kick starter.

But the gimmicky, quick start diets are a dime a dozen. They don't work. People don't need a kick start. They need to sit down and really figure out some deep things from within about what they want in their life and what they're willing to do to get it. And not only get it, but keep it.

A really low calorie diet with a bunch of shakes, I assure you, is nothing new and is not something those struggling with weight loss need.

I am not trying to sell any gimmicky ideas, I am going to write about my experience with weight loss and what worked for me, and I know also worked for others too in a healthy way. I agree very much with a lot of what you are saying, but I also believe that a kick start is very effective, like going cold turkey, when you stop smoking. By that I am not saying there is not a lot of psychological issues which should be dealt with. I have to say one of those programs that motivated me the most to go hardcore, was the biggest looser which they also show over here in Denmark. I came to the forum to get some expert advice on how to do this and how not to. I also agree that this method is not for everyone, I am just being honest and saying this is how I did it, and want to share it with others, plus telling people what I did beside just the diet.

Good luck to ya.
