Need help on getting Body Mass....

Hi, I am someone out there tat needs help desperately.... I currently 20yrs old, weight 67 Kg and 187 cm.. Yup tats right, I one of those ppl tat u call Long Bean...

Right now, I serving the army and I think i getting thinner... I try to eat a lot but it doesn help much... I think I have a high metabolism rate cos no matter how much i eat and slp, i don get bigger..... Besides, army food sux....

I went scouting around the whole forum but there is just too many answers or solutions for me to follow.... My fren suggested drinking tons of soya milk or eating abt 6-8 times a day like tuna bread or high protein food etc eggs....

I only hope for some advice on my diets(No milk pls, i sick of them) and i will try to follow them strictly, and MONEY IS NO PROBLEM........
 
does sound like you have a fast metabolism. i would steer clear of soy milk though. a little is ok, but it shouldn't be your primary source of protein.

to bulk up you need 500 calories over what your body needs for maintenance, as a minimum. A fast burner like you might need 750 to 1000 extra calories, consistently, every day.

eat 6-7 times a day, protein and carbs at every meal. you're gonna HAVE to keep a food diary so you can see what your intake is, and compare that to your weight increase, so you can make adjustments.

there's a LOT to learn about nutrition and physical training to bulk up.
 
hey ya, thx for the info.... Anyway, is there any website tat shows u which food are high in proteins and carbo... I only koe bread, lean meat and potato lol......

Btw, wat r the pros and cons of proteins pills and mass gainer??... Do they have any side effects or wat?
 
BULK BABY BULK!

Eat ALOT! I would 6 meals a day and try to keep you calarie intake at around 4,000 for gaining weight. Eat clean foods, whatever you want, but natural and clean. No McD's or anything like that!
And suplements, get on a good Protein, Creatine, Amino Acids and LIFT HEAVY!
DONT do cardio more then twice a week!
 
Actually, when u guys say calories intake of 4k, does it mean i need to eat food tat would amt to 4k of calories or just total intake of calories minus away the exercise burn away calories...

Normally, when people are suggesting how many calories in a day, they mean your total intake for the day. I'm just curious, do you do any weight training ??
