I'm Male, 180 lbs, 5'51", 22 years old
So my BMR is: 2447.5
Then... I'm currently doing 3 days/week of HIIT (45-60 Minutes of Spinning/Cycling Class). I'm also lifting weights (both heavy with few reps and many reps with good weight) 4-5 times/week (60-90 Minutes). Is this considered moderately active or very active?
I'll be conservative and go with moderately active so I have to do this: Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.55
2447.5 x 1.55 = 3793.625
Now that's a lot of calories isn't it to maintain weight?
So if I want to shave of 20% of my calories it'd be around 760 calories. Leaving me with an intake of 3035 calories. Does this sound right? To me it sounds like way too many calories.
Thanks in advanced for any help.
