Need Help Becoming Fasterr

Hey guys, a couple weeks ago our schools track season started. I'm only a sprinter, and currently the fastest at my school, and 5th fastest in two districts. My 100M time is only a 12.72, with my record last summer being a 12.78. I want to get down to the 11.__'s, but i don't know how really. I heard squads are good for gaining speed too. I just don't want to have to spend money, considering i just bought a book to increase speed. The book will help me veryyy much but i'd like to get faster using a couple of different exercises. Any ideas????

There is a lot you can do that you may not even realise would help.

Getting the right amount of sleep, cutting out fast food, making sure you are well hydrated and making sure you have got all the right fule inside you.

You should look in to your diet, What you eat and when you eat it will have a very big effect on your speed.

As for exercises, squats, lunges and box step ups will help you out. But dont do them every day, and dont sprint the day after you do your strength training.
