Sport Need Food Advice - Slim Trim Lavash

Sport Fitness
I am in the process of losing a lot of weight and I need a white bread substitute for my diet. I have brown rice now but I am looking for something healthy that will not hinder my weight loss that I can make a sandwich out of.

Does anyone have any opinions on Lavash

It has 11 carbs and also 11 grams of dietary fiber, does this mean I subtract the fiber from carbs and it is virtually no carbs?

Nice to see that this forum is still getting it's daily dose of spam to keep the mods busy!

This one isn't spam :)

THat's an odd food label. I think they are already NOT counting fiber in the total carbs. On most nutrition labels, fiber is counted in the total carbs, so you would subtract.

but they say its 65 calories, and the only way to get that calorie count is if there's 11g of starch/sugar carbs, plug the 3g of protein, plus 1g of fat is 65cals.

and judging from the ingredients, I'd say that's correct. There is 11g of net carbs, plus 11g of fiber.

Thanks for the info and the breakdown. Those package numbers are actually for a half of a piece so I guess I am really eating 22 carbs each time I eat a whole one with turkey.

Yep, but that's still good. Most 'grocery store' bread is 20g of carbs a slice and less than 1g of fiber.

I'm not a big bread fan, but this one seems ok.
