need advice..

ok.. i bought this protein powder known as perfect whey by perfect nutrition..and each scoop contains 28g of protein in it... heres a quick view of its nutritional information...

i just wanna know how many scoops a day should i take... i work out 4-5 days a week intensely and got a pretty defined body.. im 18, and 135lbs , im looking to increase 5 to 10 more pounds on me...

So how many scoops a day would u recommend a guy who work out 4-5 days a week and is 18?..
 
You should try and get all your protein from foods. Supplement the protein for what you're missing through the day or if you have to skip a meal.

And PWO (post-workout) is always an ideal time to ingest whey.
 
ya , i try to get all the protein from my food...should i just take 1 scoop or 2 a day??...

Scoops depend. How many grams did you get from food.

consume ~1 gram of protein per lb of bodyweight
 
everyone's different.

right now, i'm leaning, and taking in a lotta protein since I can't have many carbs, so I'm doing 4 scoops, about 100g of protein, per day, in addition to 160-200g of whole food protein (eggs, steak, chicken, cheese, fish) a day.

i wouldn't try to get more than 1/3 of your daily protein from a shake.
